1. Booking, Confirmation & Tariff

  • Advance Reservation: A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the requisite advance deposit or an official booking confirmation voucher issued via SMS, WhatsApp, or email from our authorized desk.

  • Tariff Structure: Room rates are charged per room per night and are inclusive/exclusive of applicable statutory taxes as indicated at the time of reservation.

  • Pricing Integrity: We adhere to transparent pricing without arbitrary surge fees during standard pilgrimage periods. However, special rates may apply for peak festival dates or bulk banquet bookings as agreed in writing.

2. Check-In, Check-Out & Identification Mandates

  • Standard Timings:

    • Check-In Time: 12:00 PM (Noon)

    • Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM

  • Early Check-In / Late Check-Out: Subject to room availability and may attract nominal hourly or half-day charges at the management’s discretion.

  • Mandatory Identity Verification: In strict compliance with Indian hospitality laws and local police directives, every adult guest must present an original, valid government-issued photo ID with address proof (Aadhaar Card, Passport, Voter ID, or Driving License) upon arrival. (PAN cards are not accepted as valid identity/address proof). Foreign nationals must present a valid passport, visa, and complete Form C requirements.

  • Refusal of Check-in: The management reserves the right to deny admission without refund if guests fail to produce valid government-approved documentation.

3. Sacred Purity, Family Safety & Conduct Standards

Mathur Vaishya Atithi Grah is an institutional lodging dedicated to family sanctity, cultural dignity, and peace:

  • Strictly 100% Pure Vegetarian: Non-vegetarian food, eggs, and raw meat are strictly prohibited from being brought, prepared, or consumed on the entire premises.

  • Absolute Prohibition on Alcohol & Intoxicants: The possession, sale, or consumption of alcohol, narcotics, drugs, and illicit substances is strictly prohibited. Smoking and tobacco spitting are banned in all rooms and indoor corridors.

  • Decorum & Quiet Hours: To preserve a peaceful retreat for families and elderly pilgrims, guests are expected to maintain reasonable noise levels. Quiet hours are observed between 10:00 PM and 06:00 AM.

  • Zero Tolerance for Unlawful Activity: Gambling, commercial solicitation, or any behavior violating Indian criminal or public decency laws will result in immediate termination of the stay and reporting to law enforcement authorities.

4. Cancellation, Amendment & Refund Policy

  • Standard Individual Bookings (1–4 Rooms):

    • Cancellations requested 48 hours or more prior to standard check-in time (12:00 PM of arrival date): Eligible for a refund after deducting a nominal processing fee.

    • Cancellations within 48 hours of check-in, or no-shows: The advance deposit for the first night will be forfeited.

  • Bulk Bookings & Festive Dates (5+ Rooms or Banquet Hall): Separate cancellation windows apply as specified in the event/bulk booking agreement.

  • Refund Processing: Approved refunds are credited back to the original source account/card within 7 to 10 working days.

5. Room Occupancy & Visitor Policy

  • Maximum Occupancy: Room categories have fixed occupancy limits (e.g., maximum 2 adults and 1 child under 5 years in Deluxe Rooms; designated bed limits in Family Suites). Additional adults require prior authorization and an extra mattress charge.

  • Outside Visitors: For the security of all resident families, outside visitors not listed on the check-in register are not permitted in guest bedrooms after 09:00 PM. Visitors may meet guests in the ground-floor reception lobby.

6. Banquet Hall & Event Guidelines

  • Events must conclude within the scheduled time slot (Day: 09:00 AM – 03:00 PM / Evening: 05:00 PM – 11:00 PM).

  • Amplified sound systems, live bands, or dhol must strictly adhere to statutory decibel limits and municipal cutoff timings.

  • Decorating fixtures must not cause structural or paint damage to the walls. Any damage caused during an event will be assessed and billed to the primary host.

7. Guest Luggage, Valuables & Liability

  • Personal Belongings: Guests are strongly advised to keep jewelry, cash, and electronic devices under personal lock and key. The management is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of unattended personal valuables.

  • Damage to Property: Guests will be held financially liable for any intentional damage, breakage of hotel fixtures, electrical equipment, or destruction of linens/furnishings during their stay.

  • Parking at Owner’s Risk: While our premises provide gated parking with round-the-clock CCTV surveillance, vehicles and their contents are parked entirely at the owner’s risk.

8. Force Majeure

The management shall not be held liable for failure to provide accommodations or scheduled amenities in the event of circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural calamities, severe weather, state-wide power grid failures, civic unrest, or government-mandated travel restrictions.

9. Right of Admission & Termination of Service

The management reserves the full right of admission. If a guest is found violating the sacred purity norms (alcohol/non-veg), creating public nuisance, abusing staff, or threatening safety, the management reserves the right to terminate their stay immediately without refund.

10. Governing Law & Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed exclusively by the laws of India. Any disputes, claims, or legal actions arising out of or in connection with stays or reservations at Mathur Vaishya Atithi Grah shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Agra, Uttar Pradesh.
